优点:
1)This class begins with a student’s school day, which leads to the topic of energy and provides specific examples for students to reflect on their own behaviors in daily life. It’s easy for students to become aware of saving energy from small things.
2) The presenter has a clear idea to help students learn this difficult expository. For example, in scanning, “How has global come about?” leads to Part 2; “Human activity has caused global warming. In return, what effects has global warming had on humans?” leads to Part 3; “What is the author’s attitude towards global warming?” goes to Part 4. This is much easier for students to understand the whole passage.
3) In this class, students get some knowledge about the structure and writing technique of expository by learning global warming.
不足:
1)In the part of how global warming comes about, when one student was not able to explain, the presenter just picked up another student instead of asking some effective questions to help him understand.
2)The presenter did not give students enough time to prepare the task of group work, so most groups didn’t finish the poster in the end.
